Ultrarunning Federation and Fenix Enhance Their Cooperation

Fenix is recognized globally as a high-quality LED lighting brand. In addition to headlamps designed for running, Fenix offers a wide range of handheld flashlights, bicycle lights, camping lanterns, and accessories. Fenix lighting products are extensively used in running, skiing, outdoor activities, hiking, industry, by authorities, and for everyday use. Our customers appreciate the excellent performance and high quality of our products.

The cooperation agreement continues previous collaborations and now also includes the trail running national team. Under this agreement, Fenix Nordics will supply the ultra-running teams with the award-winning HM75R SUPERRAPTOR 3 headlamps. The high quality, functionality for running, and lightweight design of Fenix headlamps were key selection criteria for this product choice. The combination of battery life and brightness has been proven excellent by many ultrarunners in ultra-long road and trail races.

The Finnish Ultramarathon Association advocates for the interests of ultrarunning. The association comprises around ten clubs with over 1,000 runners in total. Trail running has become more integrated into the association through the newly established trail running national team in 2024. The ultramarathon association has close ties with the Finnish Athletics Federation and the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU).

The level of ultrarunning in Finland has been on the rise, with several runners approaching the world elite, evidenced by strong placements in events like Spartathlon and UTMB. The cooperation agreement between the Ultramarathon Association and Fenix Nordics paves the way for runners towards the absolute top.
