The perfect hands-free lantern
The Fenix CL28R is a great and compact lantern for demanding hobbyists and work use. The large maximum light output of 2000 lumens enables illumination of a 160° area up to 58 meters away. This lantern is packed with useful features. One of the unique features is the color selector, which allows you to change the color temperature of the light from cool to warm. Perfect light for night photography and shooting objects where natural and better color rendering is important. A separate red light can be used for tasks where night vision must be preserved or the light is used as an attention and warning light. The 360° rotatable stand enables better orientation, and can be attached to its 1/4" tripod thread. The CL28R lantern is suitable for photography, maintenance installation and repair light, emergency light and outdoor use.
Stepless color selector and brightness adjustment for better lighting
The Fenix CL28R features stepless controls for adjusting the light output and color temperature. The light output can be smoothly adjusted from 10 to 2000 lumens. The stepless color temperature adjustment allows for a wide range of light shades, ranging from 2700 to 6500 Kelvin as needed. The Fenix CL28R also includes a convenient red light function (flash, continuous red light). For the best color rendering, this light has a CRI value of 83-86.4. When using the lamp for activities such as photography, the resulting light also depends on other parameters like luminous flux (power) and color temperature (Kelvin). To achieve the most accurate color rendering, we recommend using a color temperature of around 4000 Kelvin and adjusting the light output to suit the specific situation.
360° rotating stand with magnetic attachment
The Fenix CL28R has a high-quality 360° stand whose integrated two powerful magnets hold the lantern on metal surfaces. In addition, the stand has a 1/2" Tripod thread with which the projector can be attached to the light stand* (not included).
10,000 mAh high capacity rechargeable battery with USB charging
Two built-in 5000 mAh Li-Ion batteries (10000 mAh in total) ensure long usage times of up to 360 hours* (at 10 lm brightness). The CL28R can also be used for emergency charging of other devices thanks to its bi-directional USB connector ports. The batteries are charged with the EU standard USB-C connector. The lantern supports fast charging PD3.0/PD2.0, QC3.0/QC2.0 and various charging currents PD 5V/2.5A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A.
